Peter Cardón is an internationally acclaimed hair fashion designer who is passionate about all aspects of his profession. For over three decades, he has owned a salon in Puerto Rico that bears his signature where he mentors stylists and beauty experts with exceptional talent who are inspired by his creativity and exquisite taste in hair and makeup design.

Together, they form Peter Cardon Salon. The salon's clientele is a mixture of people from all walks of life who not only want to look their best but feel at their best. Celebrities, loyal fans, young professionals, brides as well as young girls dreaming about their Prom all experience a warm welcome at the salon. They are dedicated to offering a full range of services and the best customer service to make certain our customer's experience is one of a kind.

Peter has travelled the world, first as a fierce competitor in international competitions and later as trainer for Puerto Rico's team at Hairworld Competitions, including 2002 in Las Vegas where his team won the Bronze Medal. After serving as a judge in several international competitions, Peter's dedication earned him the opportunity to represent Puerto Rico for over twelve years as a delegate before OMC (Organisation Mondiale de la Coiffure). OMC is the most prestigious association in the beauty industry, with over 60 member countries. Founded in France over 50 years ago and with offices in Paris and New York, OMC is responsible for seasonal releases of high-fashion beauty trends as well as an international education program.

Since 2001 Peter has been elected continuously by OMC as President for Las Americas Zone. In 2002 he was named Creative Director and elected to the Board of Directors of OMC. In this position he had the opportunity to express his creativity by designing upcoming hair trends for our industry. His participation in OMC has been of extreme importance not only for Puerto Rico but for all Latin American countries.

A well-known Platform Artist, Peter has performed in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Throughout his career, he has devoted countless hours to Puerto Rico's Beauty Association and has mentored many of Puerto Rico's top professionals. Known for his exquisite taste and his grasp of the total look concept, Peter is a favorite of the Latin press and top designers who actively seek his trend-setting styles.
